Lloyd has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry and is responsible for leading Capital Rx’s legal strategy, including all regulatory, litigation, contract, transactional, governance, and compliance matters affecting Capital Rx. His expertise includes pharmacy benefit management (PBM), pharmacy, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse-related issues. Before Capital Rx, he spent a year and a half at UnitedHealth Group OptumRx as Deputy General Counsel, supporting pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships and other strategic initiatives. Prior to OptumRx, Lloyd was Vice President, Healthcare with Walgreens leading a team responsible for contracting with managed care companies, PBMs, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and with providers for the provision of healthcare services through Walgreens. And prior to Walgreens, he was Vice President, Senior Legal Counsel with Caremark, CVS Health’s PBM, where he led the PBM client contracting team for much of his 16 years with CVS Health.


Sara is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Clinical functions at Capital Rx, working cross-functionally with different internal and external stakeholders. Sara leverages more than a decade of experience across pharmacy benefits, physician organizations, hospitals, retail pharmacies, and clinical research to develop and guide clinical operations. Before Capital Rx, Sara served as Senior Pharmacist and Program Lead for an OptumCare independent physician organization where she led the development of the Pharmacy Department, transformed the utilization management process, and implemented multiple clinical programs overseeing drug utilization for more than a million covered members. Sara has also held roles such as Clinical Pharmacist, Drug Therapy Management at OptumRx, and Lead Research Pharmacist.


John is the EVP of Judi Care, responsible for Care Navigation business lines at Capital Rx. John joined Capital Rx in 2025 via the acquisition of Amino Health, where he was the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Amino, John led consumer verticals at GoodRx (NASDAQ: GDRX), where he oversaw teams across Strategy, Business Operations, Product, Clinical, Content, Partnerships, and Marketing. Previously, John was the Chief Revenue Officer of Barnes & Noble Education (NYSE: BNED), which he joined via the acquisition of Student Brands in 2018. Prior to that, John was the Founder and CEO of a B2B digital marketplace, which was acquired in 2012. John started his career as a White House policy analyst, and advised CEO and senior management on business strategy as an engagement manager at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).


Karen joined Capital Rx as one of the first 10 employees and was a key leader in the development and launch of Judi® in 2021. Currently, she leads the Enterprise Solutions team, accountable for the delivery and service of Judi as a platform to customers leveraging our SaaS arrangements. Previously, Karen served as the SVP of Product Management responsible for expanding upon Judi's core capabilities and leading a team of 20+ Product Managers and UI/UX Designers. In Capital Rx’s nascency, Karen built and scaled the implementation department from scratch, developing the operating infrastructure to service our growing client base across new business lines while maintaining a 100% implementation satisfaction score.


Jason Barretto joined Capital Rx in 2022 and is presently a Senior Vice President responsible for building and leading the operational area of the Government Programs business unit, which focuses on developing capabilities to deliver best-in-class Medicare and Medicaid services to pharmacy benefit administration (PBA) clients. Prior to joining Capital Rx, Jason spent his 20+ year managed care career in various leadership roles supporting Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial plans, most recently as the Vice President of Operations with Molina Healthcare, where he led their national pharmacy operations team supporting 18 states. He also led pharmacy operations, analytics, and reporting at Healthfirst of NY and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ. Jason is a graduate of Saint Peters University with dual master’s degrees in business administration and Accounting.


William is responsible for leading Capital Rx’s award-winning service operations functions that deliver exceptional, personalized service to all members, clients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers. Will holds more than 40 years of industry leadership experience advancing operational execution and excellence, leading enterprise-wide change initiatives to foster growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. Before joining Capital Rx, Will was Senior Vice President of Operations at Elixir Solutions and has also held positions of increasing responsibility at CVS Health, Caremark, and Merck-Medco.

Will holds more than 40 years of industry leadership experience advancing operational execution and excellence, leading enterprise-wide change initiatives to foster growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. Before joining Capital Rx, Will was Senior Vice President of Operations at Elixir Solutions and has also held positions of increasing responsibility at CVS Health, Caremark, and Merck-Medco.


Maria joined Capital Rx in September 2022 as a Senior Vice President responsible for contracting and underwriting initiatives, as well as leadership of the RFP, pricing, and client analytics teams. Before Capital Rx, she held various senior finance, reimbursement, and analytics roles, most recently with Alto Pharmacy, Candid Health, and Indy Health. Prior to those, Maria spent over 14 years at Elixir (EnvisionRx Options), and as Vice President of Financial Strategy & Analytics, she was responsible for underwriting, pricing, pharmacy contractual performance, client contractual performance and audit, and client analytics.


Ryan is the head of technology, leading Capital Rx’s software development and catapulting the antiquated systems of the PBM industry into the 21st century. With over a decade of experience in software development, architecture, security, compliance, and analytics, Ryan has the diverse skills and innovative vision necessary to reimagine the modern healthcare startup. Before Capital Rx, Ryan served as the software architect for Truveris, managing the design, implementation, QA/QC, and client delivery for all products. Ryan was uniquely positioned to oversee programs servicing the entirety of the pharmacy supply chain, and during his tenure he securely and efficiently processed and stored over 1 billion claim transactions. Prior to Truveris, Ryan worked as an engineer at LiveTechnology, an ad technology company providing PAAS solutions for media agencies.


Karen joined Capital Rx as one of the first 10 employees and was a key leader in the development and launch of Judi® in 2021. Elizabeth is responsible for all aspects of Capital Rx Advantage, our prescription discount card program, as well as new product development and launch initiatives. Before joining Capital Rx, Elizabeth was Vice President of Life Sciences at Truveris, where she created and scaled the Life Sciences business. Prior to that, Elizabeth was an Engagement Manager in Oliver Wyman’s Health and Life Sciences practice, where she worked on strategy and growth initiatives for health insurers, providers, pharmacies, and life sciences companies.


Kristin Begley, PharmD, is the Chief Commercial Officer at Capital Rx and an industry leader in health information technology innovation and the pharmaceutical supply chain. Kristin is responsible for expanding and growing Capital Rx’s commercial business and oversight of market-facing initiatives. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the role based on years of experience in the pharmacy sector, working on value-based care programs, helping build health technology infrastructure, and providing payers and health systems with modular software, hardware, and health advocacy solutions. Before joining Capital Rx, Kristin held executive leadership positions at companies including, but not limited to, Wildflower Health, Truveris, and Aon-Hewitt.


Josh is responsible for assessing market trends, evaluating business initiatives, and developing strategic partnerships to support the continued growth of Capital Rx. Prior to Capital Rx, Josh served as Area Senior Vice President at Solid Benefit Guidance, a division of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. He was responsible for the successful delivery of a wide range of pharmacy consulting solutions to Fortune 500 employers, government entities, labor unions, and health plans. Prior to joining Solid Benefit Guidance in 2016, Josh was the Practice Leader of the Employer Consulting Segment of Pharmaceutical Strategies Group, LLC. He has also held strategic consulting positions at Aon Hewitt, Mercer Human Resource Consulting, and Buck Consultants. Josh has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. In his free time, he enjoys travel, cooking, and sharing his passion for music and astronomy with his two young children.


Nick Van Hook is the Senior Vice President of National Business Development at Capital Rx, where he leads commercial sales and growth initiatives with a focus on transforming healthcare through technology. With over 14 years of experience in the pharmacy benefit industry, Nick brings deep expertise and strategic insight to his role.


Michael Passanante leads the Marketing & Communications team at Capital Rx, responsible for product marketing, demand generation, content strategy, revenue operations, events, internal communications, branding, media relations and creative design. Michael brings over twenty years of marketing and healthcare experience to Capital Rx, having worked at firms such as SDI Health (IQVIA), Sanofi-Aventis, Thomson Reuters Life Sciences, and BESLER. He has launched major PaaS offerings and related services across multiple market segments within healthcare and life sciences.


Mike is responsible for developing business relationships with advisors, payers, and health systems at Capital Rx. Mike is a health care actuary with significant experience in all aspects of employer health and welfare benefits, including pharmacy benefit management, data analytics, and medical management. Before Capital Rx, Mike held many senior leadership positions over 12 years at Arthur J. Gallagher, where he established their national pharmacy practice. Prior to joining Gallagher, Mike was the founder of PatientCentrix, a medical management and data management provider that he sold to SHPS Healthcare.
